Nestled in the heart of Mill Valley, The Outdoor Art Club is a hidden architectural treasure. Surrounded by beautiful gardens on more than a half-acre, the Clubhouse, with its rustic Arts and Crafts style, is the perfect venue for a memorable wedding or any special occasion. The Outdoor Art Club was founded in 1902 by a group of women committed to protect the natural beauty of the area. By 1904 their Clubhouse, designed by the renowned architect, Bernard Maybeck, was completed. This unique building has been recognized as a City, State, and National Historic Landmark since 1978. The facility includes a large front patio, spacious main hall with unique vaulted ceiling, fireplace, and stage. There is also a large sun porch off of the main hall, a rear deck with steps leading to a secluded wedding garden, bride’s dressing area, library, and a professional commercial kitchen.
